We use a production system that was established over 20 years ago. It began with production of fishing worms. Organic fertilizer (worm poop) is now one of the main products.
Because our worms are grown in a controlled environment, they can be harvested and sold at various sizes for different types of fishing and composting as well.
Our Production
We currently have thousands of worms working day and night. Our nightcrawlers are fed a very rich peat humus supplemented with a proprietary mix of seven grains, which provides optimum growth and reproduction rate.
Harvest
Every 2 weeks, units of worms are dumped onto a harvest table to screen the worms from the casting and the castings from the cocoons.
The End Result
The castings we harvest have a consistent quality from harvest to harvest because the method is always the same and the bedding is always the same.
What we end up with is a very rich, dark worm casting that will allow plants to thrive and grow.
Earthworm castings are Mother nature's best kept growing secret. They retain high moisture levels and release nutrients slowly over time to meet your plants needs.
